Every company needs to have a great brand
Custom Permits has been blessed to be in business for over 30 years, but today we launch a newly branded version of our website. The goal was to introduce modern technology into how we do business. This meant we needed to step up our game when it came to some parts of our technology that were over 10 years old.
The first step of our Custom Permits 2.0 upgrade was the way that we process permits. We decided to go with a standalone online application that our customers could create accounts and save truck information on instead of just an online form. This branched out into all sorts of other awesome features including cloning previous orders, importing permits via spreadsheet, a customer dashboard with spending history, and much more.
In the meantime, we were working on a new look for the company. You probably remember us sending out a survey to you if you were one of our current customers. This was extremely helpful in understanding how our customers feel about Custom as a company. This took us in a direction for the logo to look timeless, learned, and like we had heritage in the industry. The look of the “EasyPermits” font was a bit more playful because we want our customers to enjoy doing business with us (we know permits can be very boring and tedious at times).
Today, we are announcing a milestone that will resonate with truckers that like to have the best quality, best customer service, and love working with a company who puts excellence in everything they do. No slackers.
